Europe Fly and Shine is a multimedia installation by Michaela Lawtoo in which a plurality of voices address the current European and planetary crisis. Europe, in fact, is part of one single globe that is, more than ever, vulnerable to destruction. The sculpture stands for connectedness, fragility and cohesion of people of all regions in Europe. The 52 voices from 25 countries share their hopes for Europe to continue to fly and shine in the future, individual- yet united.
